Karen Watson

Karen Watson of Baird went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the age of 78.

Karen was born September 30, 1942 in Lavon, Texas to James and Margaret Woody Williams.  She married Bob Watson December 29, 1958, and the couple enjoyed 62 years of marriage.  She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Bob, of Baird; two sons, Robert Shane Watson and James Michael Watson; two sisters, Sandra Jean Runnels and Arlene Williams; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Ross Cemetery Annex, Hwy 283 in Baird, at 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2021, with Rev. Jimmy Hatcher officiating. Those attending are reminded of social distancing guidelines, and face coverings are recommended.
